I got to play at the Ochec homeschool convention this weekend. It was fun for the most part, except for walking around the convention area while my mom listened to speakers. On Friday after the band played, I was walking by the homeschool band booth and our director, Mr. Rye, asked me why I wasn't wearing my band shirt. I was supposed to be a walking advertisement! I said that I didn't want to wear it all day long. I wore it all day long on Saturday even after we played.
It seems like we saw everyone we know. We visited with a lady from our church who had her own booth. I got a book about C.S. Lewis (I have added it to "On My Bookshelf"), and another book about digital photography ( I have been interested in the subject ever since I got my first digital camera).
What an awesome weekend.
The new Veggie Tales episode, Lessons From The Sock Drawer: A Collection Of Veggie Shorts And Briefs, came out this weekend also. I may try to get it some time.
