Hey, May has arrived. All I can say about that is: WOW.
Our Wednesday night Awana was extremely busy. We had our Handbook Time, and after the girls finished their sections, they started working on their scrapbooks and getting their pinewood derby cars weighed. Then we did Diligent Daughters for April, then we had our book awards and we did Daughter of the Month for April. We did a drawing where whenever one of the girls would pass a section, they got to write their name on a slip of paper, and whoevers name was drawn got to take home a little beanie lamb. Then we watched a video that I made about our class while we ate snacks, and after that we had our pinewood derby race which seemed to take FOREVER, and then we had the pinewood derby awards. Whew. It was our last night of Awana before the Commencement, which kind of makes me sad...
I got to play my Bass Clarinet at the Ochec homeschool convention this morning. More on that later...
